Joining Wolfpack Breed is transferring to NC State, Joe Tipton of On3.com reports.

Impact Breed will follow head coach Will Wade to the Wolfpack for his fifth collegiate season. The 6-foot-3 guard averaged 17.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists on 30 minutes per game with McNeese this past campaign. He should expect an immediate impact position with NC State, especially since his former head coach is who he will be playing under once again.

Hits transfer portal Breed (knee) is in the transfer portal, Pete Nakos of On3.com reports.

Impact Breed has decided to enter the transfer portal, though it's unclear what he wants to do. According to Nakos, the senior guard has a "do not contact tag," so it's unclear what the future holds for him. It seems he won't be returning to McNeese State, though.

Out again Saturday Breed (knee) won't play Saturday against Nicholls State and his timetable to return remains unknown, Chaston Tavares of Gator 99.5 reports.

Impact It'll be the 13th straight game Breed's missed as he remains without a clear timetable after suffering a knee injury in December. Breed's appeared in two games for the Cowboys after transferring from Providence in the offseason.

Impact Breed will miss yet another game, his 11th straight. The guard was dynamic in the two games in which he did play this season, but his knee injury will hold him out of yet another contest. His next chance to play will come on Jan. 6 against Northwestern State.

Impact Breed has been limited to just two games this season, scoring 18 points in the opener against South Dakota State and putting up another 17 points two games later against Alabama. He hasn't played since Nov. 11, and while the initial hope was for a return roughly around the new year, it no longer sounds like coach Will Wade is that optimistic. Consider the senior guard and Providence transfer to be out indefinitely.

Breed has not been consistent at all this season let alone producing enough to warrant his starting spot. Thanks to his poor performance and iffy at best defense, Breed eventually gave way to fellow teammate Jared Bynum. Until Breed can fix his game, there are better options available.

However, his shooting efficiency is still not up to par. Breed also has not shown success outside the shooting department this year and he is better to pass for other options.
