Impact Payne's 20-point outing - just the second time he'd eclipsed 20 points this season - was instrumental in helping the Aggies hang on for a narrow victory over Missouri. The forward was deadly efficient from the field and also got to the charity stripe 10 times, his second-highest number of free throw attempts this season. Payne's scoring has been hot and cold this season, but he came through in a big-time ranked matchup.

Impact Payne was pretty quiet to begin the season, but has now scored in double figures in five of the Aggies' last six games. Transitioning to a bench role in late November took some getting used to, but now he's playing his part very well and is a dangerous player to bring off the bench. Payne will be a critical piece as the Aggies try to survive the gauntlet that is SEC play.

Payne also hit the 20-minute threshold for the first time since Nov. 11. It will be interesting to see if the forward can build off this performance.

Impact Payne was all over the court, as evidenced by his robust stat-line. The forward fouled out after logging just 22 minutes, and was largely replaced by Andersson Garcia, but still led the Aggies in scoring. That should go a long way to display the kind of potential Payne has as a bucket-getter for A&M this season.
