His six three-point makes also were a season-high, propelling his scoring abilities even further. The junior guard is averaging 22.7 points in the team's last three games, and is averaging 16.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists on the year. He should continue to be a huge proponent of the team's offensive production especially as the competition heats up in the coming weeks.

12 points in first game of season Isaacs finished with 12 points (4-12 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and one assist across 24 minutes during Sunday's 96-70 win over FDU.
Impact Isaacs was a game-time decision heading into Creighton's second matchup of the year after missing the season-opener win with an undisclosed injury. He was luckily able to make his first start against the Knights, and he put together a solid performance in the blowout. The junior guard is primed to be a focal point of the Bluejays' offense this season, and his efforts even in an easy win showed he could have some big contributing performances ahead.

Pop Isaacs misses season opener for No. 15 Creighton against UT-Rio Grande Valley because of injury

NOVEMBER 7, 2024 • ASSOCIATED PRESS
Will miss opener Isaacs (undisclosed) is set to miss Creighton's opener against UT Rio-Grande Valley, Jon Walker of the Omaha World-Herald reports.
Impact It's unclear why Isaacs is unavailable for Creighton in its opener. The guard had a strong offseason, culminating in a great performance during the Bluejays' exhibition match against Purdue in which he dropped 24 points. As a result of his absence, Steven Ashworth will likely see an uptick in his minutes.
NOVEMBER 6, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Excellent during exhibition game Isaacs (hip) logged 24 points (10-14 FG, 4-6 3Pt) and six assists across 29 minutes during Creighton's exhibition game Saturday against Purdue.
Impact Isaacs was Creighton's leading scorer as the Bluejays defeated a ranked Purdue in exhibition action. Among their team, he was one of two players to log more than five assists, with Steven Ashworth being the other. Now, Issacs can say he has positive momentum going into the 2024-25 Bluejays' season opener, currently scheduled for Nov. 6 against Texas Rio Grande Valley.

He's in line to be in Creighton's starting five as long as he can reach full strength by the regular season.

Impact Isaacs led the way with 19 for the Red Raiders while also chipping in with five assists for the second consecutive game to go along with four boards and a couple of steals. The biggest takeaway for Isaacs was the 7-for-11 (63.6%) performance from the floor. It marked his most efficient performance of the season and the first time since Jan. 20 that Isaacs has topped the 50% shooting mark. In the 11 games between he had shot just 28.8% on 13.3 shots per contest. Despite the shooting slump, Isaacs has averaged 14.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists over the last 12 games.
