Testing NBA Draft waters Demary is exploring the 2025 NBA Draft process, Graham Coffey of Dawgs Central reports.
Impact Demary announced his intentions to explore the opportunities at the professional level when he entered the transfer portal back in March. The 6-foot-5 sophomore, who averaged 13.5 points for the Bulldogs last season, has chosen UConn as his new home should he return to the NCAA.

APRIL 3 • USATODAY.COM
Heading to Storrs Demary has committed to play for UConn for the 2025-26 season, per Jonathan Givony of ESPN.com.
Impact Demary will join the Huskies following two seasons with Georgia. The 6-foot-5 guard was a star for the Bulldogs in 2024-25, averaging 13.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. He will retain two years of eligibility with the Huskies moving forward.

MARCH 31 • 247SPORTS.COM
Entering transfer portal Demary will enter the NCAA transfer portal, per Joe Tipton of On3.com.
Impact Demary will enter the portal following two seasons with Georgia. The 6-foot-5 sophomore averaged 13.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game for the Bulldogs this past season. He will retain two years of eligibility at his next destination.
MARCH 27 • ROTOWIRE
Crashes glass in win Demary produced 16 points (7-13 FG, 2-7 3Pt), eight rebounds and four assists over 33 minutes during Tuesday's 73-64 win over South Carolina.
Impact Demary's 16 points weren't quite the season-high 26 he dropped the game prior in a win over Texas, but he was still efficient from the field and added eight rebounds, which matched a season best. What's more, with four assists to zero turnovers, it was a complete winning performance from the point guard, one the Bulldogs will need more of in order to make deep runs in the SEC tournament and the NCAA tournament.
MARCH 5 • ROTOWIRE
Leading scorer in upset win Demary closed with 21 points (7-12 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, three assists and two steals over 35 minutes during Tuesday's 88-83 win over Florida.
Impact Demary was once again the top scorer for the Bulldogs in a huge win over Florida that vastly improved Georgia's resume and hopes of being on the right side of the NCAA tournament bubble come Selection Sunday. He was extremely efficient as a shooter and also drained four triples. In many ways, Demary put his team on his back and he'll need to continue to do so in order to lead Georgia to a tournament bid.
FEBRUARY 26 • ROTOWIRE
Leading scorer in lopsided loss Demary provided 19 points (5-15 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds and four assists across 40 minutes during Tuesday's 69-53 loss to Texas A&M.
Impact Demary's 19 points led the Bulldogs, but wasn't nearly enough to lead them to a upset victory over Texas A&M. Over the past three games, the guard has been shooting with reckless abandon, averaging 15.0 shots per-game and scoring 16.7 points in that time. That's certainly not the most efficient, but Georgia needs that kind of assertiveness if it's going to continue to make a push towards March in an extremely crowded SEC.

Georgia visits No. 8 Texas A&M following Demary's 23-point outing

Georgia visits the No. 8 Texas A&M Aggies after Silas Demary Jr. scored 23 points in the Bulldogs' 76-75 loss to the Mississippi State Bulldogs
FEBRUARY 11 • ASSOCIATED PRESS
Back in double figures Demary posted 12 points (4-8 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four rebounds, four assists and two steals across 33 minutes during Tuesday's 71-60 win over South Carolina.
Impact Demary scored double-digit points for the first time since Jan. 15. The point guard has grown his game in his sophomore season, and he's notably become a much more dangerous three-point shooter (30.3 percent to 38.0 percent). He still needs to cut down on his turnovers (2.6 per game compared to 2.8 assists), but Demary continues to evolve positively for the Bulldogs.
JANUARY 29 • ROTOWIRE
Production continues in SEC play Demary logged 12 points (4-9 FG, 4-7 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals in 29 minutes during Wednesday's 74-56 loss to Tennessee.
Impact While not necessarily an explosive scorer, Demary has been a consistent presence in the Georgia backcourt. He's logged double figures in four of his last five games, and his averages are up across the board from his freshman campaign. Next up is a tough home matchup against Auburn on Saturday.
JANUARY 16 • ROTOWIRE
Held in check Sunday Demary registered seven points (3-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists and one steal in 29 minutes during Sunday's 81-65 victory over Charleston Southern.
Impact Demary's game has generally taken a step forward in every statistical category this season, but he's coming off a quiet performance against Charleston Southern. Still, it was just the third game the point guard has been held under double-digit points this season, as Sunday looks like the exception, not the rule. Otherwise, Demary has been a consistent contributor every night.
DECEMBER 24, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Rough shooting night vs. GCU Demary provided seven points (1-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and one steal in 32 minutes during Saturday's 73-68 win over Grand Canyon.
Impact Demary had a tough outing shooting the basketball, but he still managed to get to the line to somewhat salvage his performance. It was the first time since the opener that Demary hadn't scored at least 10 points. He'll look to bounce back against Buffalo on Dec. 19.

Asa Newell scored 18 points, Silas Demary Jr. made a key steal in the final seconds and Georgia beat No. 22 St. John’s 66-63
NOVEMBER 24, 2024 • ASSOCIATED PRESS
Scoring consistently Demary notched 15 points (3-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 9-11 FT), two rebounds, four assists and four steals in 23 minutes during Tuesday's 93-45 victory over Alabama A&M.
Impact Since the opener, Demary has logged four straight double-digit point outings while shooting 53 percent from the floor. His three-pointers aren't falling (26.7 percent from beyond the arc) but the point guard has been an all-around player, notably tallying four steals against Alabama A&M. He'll continue to be a centerpiece for the Bulldogs.

Georgia men's basketball's Silas Demary Jr named to Coaches SEC's All-Freshman team A bright spot for the Dawgs this season and a reason for hope moving forward.
MARCH 11, 2024 • 247SPORTS.COM
Puts up 16 Demary supplied 16 points (4-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 8-10 FT), one rebound, two assists and four steals over 32 minutes during Saturday's 97-76 loss to Auburn.
Impact It's been an up-and-down freshman season for Demary, whose scoring has been inconsistent in SEC play. While Saturday was one of his better games, it wasn't necessarily due to efficiency from the field -- rather, he got to the charity stripe more times in any game since Jan. 20. There are four more games on the SEC regular season schedule for Demary to end his freshman year on a high note.

JANUARY 26, 2024 • NEWSOBSERVER.COM
Starting first college game Demary will start Monday's game against Oregon, Jordan D. Hill of the 247Sports.com reports.
Impact Demary was a one of Georgia's top recruits this offseason. A consensus four-star recruit, Demary is a big lead guard who should handle a lot of the distributing duties this season, while backcourt mate Noah Thomasson hunts his shot. This opening contest against Oregon will be a good test for the freshman.
